Grants for community projects and support provided by Belfast City Council is very promising for a better future.
The council give grants and funding to various groups, clubs and societies in Belfast, they also have a neighbourhood regeneration fund grant to make difference in the social economy, neighbourhood tourism and environmental sustainability. A company I worked with has applied and they have delivered the project very smoothly with the support of the council. Nevertheless, my intention in rating the Belfast City Council is mainly because of how inclusive and supportive it is for community & social economic development. This is not available in many councils and I am stating this by a vast experience of living in London for 5 years before Belfast. I am not sure if all residents are aware but the council's involvement in projects and supporting innovation is remarkable compared to many others, that is all I would like to share.
