Damage to a Bus Stop shelter - 19 October 2025

My name is Ms Grace Msimbe ,residing at 17 Kingswood Road ,Colchester , CO4 5JX.
I am writing this report to inform on the relevant authority on the incident of the damaging of a side glass panel of a Bus Stop shelter on Turner Road.

After disembarking from a 52 ROUTE bus coming from town, heading to Highwoods with my two sons. We crossed the road(turner road) so that we could join into Kingswood road ,our home road. As I walked after passing the Bus Stop shelter I suddenly heard a crashing sound of broken glass from behind me, where my younger son of 10years of age, was following from. I realised that the bus stop glass panel had been broken and at first could not get the information of how it had happened from my son who was also in a state of shock. My son later managed to explain to me that he had been kicking a rock which had accidentally broken the bottom of the bus stop glass panel.

I sincerely apologise on behalf of my son and myself as his parent for this unfortunate incident and thus have decided to write this report owning up for it. For any further communication regarding this matter, I am reachable on the following mobile numbers 0734 152 9299/0790 970 8353. Email [email protected]

Yours Sincerely

Grace Msimbe.
