In June of this year the residents at 19 Colonel Drive, The Point, West Derby, Liverpool L12 had a new rear garden fence erected. The fence backs on to the side part of my garage. After they completed the work I had a look down the side of the garage and noticed that the fencing company had dumped all the excess earth and concrete on my land. They also left a timber panel loose that should of been attached to the new fence. The dumping of materials means that the the new level of earth is above the damp proof course of the garage and i am worried over potential damp. i raised the issue with number 19 and they said that they will get the fence people back. To their credit they came out within a couple of days to look at the issues, and they said that they would need 6 or 7 wheelbarrow loads to get rid of the excess earth and concrete, and also they would look at using some timber battens to fix the timber panel to the new fence. They said that they would be back in about a weeks time to do the work which i thought was fair. Im still waiting for them to come back and its now 6 months later-I have asked the resident at number 19 and she just says that she will contact them but nothing seems to be happening and ive run out of patience.
